On September 12, 2025, the European Centre for Freedom and Independence (EUCFI), in partnership with ERSTE Foundation, officially launched the third edition of the Professional Integration HUB program at ERSTE Foundation in Vienna. The initiative is designed to support Ukrainian women professionals abroad and help them integrate into the European professional landscape.

For two years, EUCFI has been building systemic solutions for Ukrainians in Austria, and the HUB has become its flagship program. It offers three-month internships at leading Austrian institutions, study visits, networking opportunities, and tailored professional development activities. Hundreds of applications are submitted annually, and the growing network of alumnae has become a vibrant community of mutual support and knowledge exchange.

The launch event featured remarks by Yana Barinova, Program Director at ERSTE Foundation, as well as EUCFI co-founders Olena Bekreniova and Olga Olefirova, who emphasized the HUB’s role as a practical integration model for Ukrainian women professionals.

HUB alumnae Natalia Sherimbetova and Anastasiia Hatsenko joined the event as guest speakers, sharing valuable advice and their experiences of building careers in Austria.

With the start of HUB 3.0, EUCFI continues its mission to empower Ukrainian women abroad, unlock their professional potential, and equip them to contribute to Ukraine’s recovery and a stronger European community.
