Welcome to the EUCFI!

The mission of The European Centre for Freedom and Independence is to promote a united Europe, rebuilding of Ukraine and supporting its EU integration. We implement non-formal education projects to strengthen civil society and enhance democratic processes.

The idea of creating an NGO came to us when the full-scale Russian invasion have been begun in 2022. We wanted to do something significant, truly important for Ukraine, being in Austria. Thus, considering the EU countries' experience for Ukraine's rebuilding and relying on background of the founders, our organization was registered in Vienna.

Over the course of half a year, our team has been actively working on realizing our ideas, gaining support from European partners, in order to present EUCFI in the public space today and open the curtain on our organization's activities.

So, foremost, we focus on the following areas:

• building democracy;

• human rights and gender equality;

• developing an effective society;

• supporting rebuilding of Ukraine;

• knowledge and experience exchange for professionals in various fields.

On this page, we will share information about our projects, useful insights for Ukrainians, life of the Ukrainian community abroad, and other initiatives bringing Victory closer 🇺🇦.
