Open Call: Training Program on Youth Work with Displaced Ukrainian Youth

The European Centre for Freedom and Independence, in collaboration with WienXtra, is pleased to announce the opening of a call for a training program on Youth work with displaced Ukrainian youth. This initiative is part of the Erasmus+ program and aims to facilitate the integration of displaced Ukrainian youth into new environments, whether at home or abroad. Project Overview
The project involves 36 participants, Ukrainian youth workers, volunteers working with young people, and youth specialists living in Austria, Poland, Portugal, and Ukraine. Project goal: to facilitate the integration of displaced Ukrainian youth into a new environment at home or abroad.
The European Centre for Freedom and Independence announces a call for applications and will select 5 participants.
Participants Profile
are at least 18 years old;
have experience working with young people;
regularly involved in youth work with displaced youth from Ukraine in Austria;
have been living in Austria temporarily since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine;
have an active civic position;
speak Ukrainian (knowledge of English will be a bonus);
are interested in developing a strategy for working with displaced Ukrainian youth.
The participants will get the opportunity to take part in a 5-day training that will take place in Vienna on April 22-26. The training provides an opportunity for participants to explore European experience and best practices in working with displaced youth.
The project will result in written recommendations for youth workers that will be shared for public access.
Participation in the program is free for selected participants. The organizers will provide meals, travel to Vienna from other cities, and accommodation in Vienna (if necessary) for the period of April 21-27.
